Paris, Day 1 & 2

Day 1
We left London on Tuesday and arrived in Paris that same day. We travelled to Paris by train, it wasn't a long journey at all. Once we arrived in Paris we went straight to our appartment(dad nearly got us lost in the train station, its very hard to understand the language). Our appartment is very modern and we have a view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony. Once we got settled in, we went for a walk around our neighbourhood. Its a great neighberhood, there are lots of shops nearby, ice skating rink and cinemas. After we had looked around the neighberhood it was night time, so we got some food and cooked our dinner(it was the first meal we've cooked).

Day 2
Today we went to The Notre Dame and we even saw the bell, but we had to walk up 422 stairs to get to it and then walk back down them again, that was very hard. The statues of the gargoyles where pretty cool too. After that we went to Sacre Cour, which is a church in Montmartè, you can see all of Paris from that church. It was very big and its been my favourite church so far. We had to walk up about 100 stairs to get to that, but it seemed like so much more. You can see all of Paris when you stand out the front of the church. After that it started getting dark so we went and checked out Moulan Rough, that was a quick stop we just took some photos then left. I'm not allowed inside because I'm not old enough. Paris is such a white city, its very pretty.

London, Day 8

Today is my last day in London. Tomorrow we are off to Paris. We went to Buckingham Palace this morning to watch the changing of the guard, but we were a bit late so we didn't get to see the whole thing. But we did see them do a march which was good.
After that we went to St Pauls Cathedral. It was big and beautiful. There was about 5 different levels and we went to the top one. We had to go up over 500 stairs, it was really hard. On the Second floor there was a whispering wall, you could talk in the wall from one end of the room and the person on the other side of the room could hear you through the wall. It was amazing. On the top floor you can go outside, it was so winding out there. Then we had to walk down all those stairs again. At the end of the day we went back to The Camden Markets. This time it wasn't so busy, which was good. I have enjoyed London so much.

London, Day 7

This morning we went to Madame Tussuad's Wax Museum. They had wax's of lots of people. Including Brad & Angelina, David & Victoria Beckam, Julia Roberts, Madonna, Jessica Simpson, J.lo, The Hulk, The Royal Families, Albert Einstein, Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, etc. There was also a fun horror walk(dad screamed, I think he got a bit scared)!!

After that we went to speakers corner. It was very interesting. I didn't think I was going to enjoy it but I did. The people where talking about religion, peace, different races, some guy thought he was the devil and a lady wanted all tourists out of London. She also thought she was part of The Royal Family. A fight nearly started and there was a lot of arguing. A few Of them got heated up.

At night we went on the London eye, it was a 30 min ride on a massive Ferris wheel. We weren't gonna go on it, but I glad we did!!!

It was longest market I've ever been to. The second market we went to was The Camden Markets. This place was even bigger, it was hugh. It was so much more busier then The Portobello Road Markets. It had everything there you could possibly think of. There was also a lot of punk stores it was like a bigger version of East Village in New York. We really enjoyed The Camden Markets so we are going back there!!

London, Day 5

Another day of window shopping and museums. This time Harrods and The Natural History Museum. Harrods is very big and has everything in it. Its also very expensive, I saw a Chanel watch for $100,000. The only thing in there that was cheap where the bananas they where $5 a kg. Then we went on to the Natural History museum. First we checked out the dinosaur section, they had real life dinosaur skeletons there and there horns, teeth and claws. The mammal section was also good they had every kind of animal there, but they where all stuffed of course. I really liked the human body section because they had lots of games and optical illusions to do. The sections that weren't so exciting was the earth and mineral sections!!! We ended the day a bit earlier because we where tired from all the walking!!!

London, Day 4.

Today we went to Piccadilly, its like a mini Times Square and nearby are lots of expensive shops!! First we went to Regent St. That's were Queen Elizabeth buys her lingerie and Hamleys is also on that street. Hamleys is a 5 story toy store and you're even allowed to play with the toys without buying anything, it was lots of fun. I think dad enjoyed it more than me. We then looked around Bond St, we didn't buy anything though its too expensive. They have shops like Jimmy Choo(Best shoe shop!), Chanel, Donna Karen, Tiffany & Co, Rolex, etc. Carnaby St was another expensive street we went to, it was very trendy there in the sixties. The last street we went to was Oxford St. It was the longest street and it was the cheapest street!! We walked from Oxford street to the British Museum. We didn't get to see the whole museum because we where so tired from walking all day. But we did see the Ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece sections. The best bits in that museum where the Rosetta stone and Cleopatra's mummy. There where lots of excellent statues as well!!!

There was lots of people outside looking in through the gates. Then we went to Trafalgar square, that's were all the pigeons hang out. They have lots of great statues in Trafalgar square. Then we went to Thames River and went on boat ride. To end the day we went to the Tower of London. That was interesting, we went inside the castle and it hasn't changed from when it was last used. Their weapons were huge and the forms of torture were bad. I even got the see the crown jewels from all the Kings and Queens of England including the one belonging to Queen Elizabeth II. There can be up to 3000 diamonds in one crown. There where also lots of things made out of solid gold, like cutlery, plates, jugs and a massive punch bowl that I could fit in!!!!!

Today(second day) we went on a bus tour and it was freezing. We went past Trafalgar square, Westminster Abbey, London Bridge, Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, etc. We had to leave the bus tour because it was too cold. It is soo cold and its only just coming into winter. London is very nice and there are lots of old buildings that look excellent.

Today we did alot of walking. First we went to the United Nations and went on a tour. We saw the general assembly and security council. Then we walked to the Empire state building. We went to the 86th floor and the 102nd floor. It was so high and on the 86th floor we could go outside. That night we walked to Bryant Park and watched the ice skating. It was so funny, some people have no skills! I can't wait to watch my dad, he can't skate at all. Then we walked to the Rockerfeller centre and watched the ice skating there. I got some chocolates from Hersheys, that shop is so cool.

That night we went to times square, its really cool there, but it was pouring with rain.
New York is so noisy its actually hard to get a good nights sleep.

Like the Keelhaul, Mayday and Gangplank falls, The Humunga Kowabunga, The Storm Slides and the best one of all the Crush 'n' Gusher, it was like a roller coaster but in water. That night we went to Downtown Disney again.

Magic Kingdom day 2 and Downtown Disney.

Since we didn't get to see everything at the Magic Kingdom we went back there. We stayed for only half the day. We went on the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride and the Haunted Mansion ride. We saw Mickey's Philhar Magic, The Country Bears Jamboree and The Enchanted Tiki Room shows. I also went inside Mickey and Minnie's house's. That night dad and I went to Downtown Disney, its kind of like Disney's City centre. We had our
dinner there and checked out some shops.

Animal Kingdom

It was all about the animals today. We saw lots of African animals like giraffes, Zebras, Lions, Hippopotumas, gazelles, gorillas and rhinos. We didn't get to see the tigers and komodo dragons. We went on the Kali Rapid Rides and got totally soaked, the great Expedition Everest ride, the DINOSAUR ride and the Primeval Whirl. The last show of the day was The Festival of the Lion King, it was more of a singing show, but it was really good.

Kennedy Space Centre.

Today we went to the Kennedy Space Centre. We went on a whole day tour. We got to see a spaceship and places were the rockets launch. I also got to moon walk.

MGM Studios

This was my favourite park. The best shows we saw here was the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, It was a car stunt show and it showed us how car stunts are done in movies. Another really great show was Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage. The 2 best rides were at this park, the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. The Tower of Terror was the best!! That night we went to the Streets of America, which is supposed to be a street in New York. It was lit up with Christmas lights and looked amazing!!

CHECK OUT MY FIRST VIDEO OF THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!

Epcot

I really enjoyed Epcot. There were two parts to it The Future World and The World Showcase. We did everything at Epcot. My favourites at Future World were Test track, Mission: Space and Soarin. While dad enjoyed talking to Crush a Sea Turtle on a cinema screen. At the World Showcase they had countries like Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, America, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom and Canada. Mexico definetly looked the best, but Norway had the best attraction, it was a boat ride. They also had a food and wine festival, so they had stalls for nearly every country. At the end of the day there was a firework show, which was also really good.

On our last day in Las Vegas we went to The Grand Canyon in Arizona. On our way there we flew over boulder dam, that was a big dam!!! When we got to the Grand Canyon, we checked out 2 different lookouts. The first one was Eagle point, its called eagle point because part of the canyon is shaped like an eagle. There are also parts shaped as a lion and a dog. At this same lookout we learned about Indians and how they lived. At the second lookout we had lunch took photos of the great scenery and I bought some jewellery from the stalls. After that we went on a helicopter ride through the Canyon, then went on a boat ride through the Colorado River and after that we took the helicopter back to the Grand Canyon airport. We got back to Las Vegas at 5:30 and then left for Florida at 11:00pm.

Viva Las Vegas

We got to Las Vegas on Monday 30 Oct, early in the morning. We stayed at the Mandalay Bay Resort. Our hotel room was great, I had my own bedroom, bathroom, air conditioner and TV. Las Vegas was full of lights, lots of big, bright, colourful lights and the hotels there are magnificant, they are so big and some are very unique. My favourite was New York, New York, this hotel was shaped as the different skyscrapers in New York and it even had a big rollercoaster going around it. Which I went on and it was lots of fun. One night dad and I walked along the whole Vegas strip it took a while but we saw some interesting things along the way. At The Bellagio Hotel they had a water show, that was my favourite show. At The Mirage they had a volcano erupting(but it was only fake). At Treasure Island we saw a pirate show, that was also very good. During the day we went to their 2 biggest malls and did a bit of shopping. On our last night in Las Vegas we went to downtown, it was undercover but outside. On the ceiling they had an amazing show. Vegas was great!!!
