The End!!!

I've been in Australia for a while. School has started, I'm catching up with all my friends and I'm having a great time. Its great to be back.
My holiday was excellent it was a great experience and I couldn't have asked for anything more. The best place ever was New York because its everything you expect it to be and so much more. I had an absolute ball.
The most amazing places would have to be Las Vegas because its nothing like you would ever see in a normal city. Its so bright and the hotels are huge. Its like a magical world in the middle of nowhere. The other amazing places were Rome and Pompeii. They are unbelievable, its bizarre to go a place people lived in 1000s of years ago and to see buildings still standing.
The most disappointing place we went to was Disneyworld, its not as good as you would expect it to be. But I'm extremely happy I went even though it was a bit disappointing I still had a lot of fun there. Dad and I made up a joke saying "Everyone says Disneyworld is the happiest place on earth, but we say its the fattest". Everyone at disneyworld is fat lol. You walk into one of the theme parks and everywhere you turn your head you see a fat person.
The most meroble moments were surfing in hawaii, everything in new york, roman forum rome, snow in croatia, fantasea in thailand, hotspots in LA, grand canyon and meating my great grandfather in austria.
The funniest times were fireworks in croatia. Dad thought it would be a cool idea to buy fireworks for New Years, so he bought a whole heap. On New Years we went to a park to let off our fireworks. We set off a big one and as the fireworks were coming the box broke we were all running and screaming and one nearly hit dads cousin lol. It was hilarious but really dangerous. Looking at the photos after we've been on rides was very funny too because dad always looked silly. I would always laugh at him about it. There were two really really funny ones but we didn't buy them. I wish we had. They would make everyone laugh. I was always laughing at dad on our holiday, especially when we went ice skating in New York he made such a fool of himself. I fell over once and he fell over about 10 times, but it was worth it. Now he can skate, kinda.
I wanna say thanks to everyone I meet. You are all great people and definetly made my holiday a lot more fun. But most of all I would like to thank my dad this would have never even happened if it wasn't for him. I had the time of my life thank you so much. I will definetly do it again someday.

Singapore

Our last destination, Singapore. We got here this morning and spent the day here. First we went to Orchard street and checked out the millions of shops. The street is so long and the whole way down was shops. Then we went to see the statue of the Merlion( a lion cross mermaid). Then we walked along a long river. They had some very interesting works of art along the river. The art along the river was my favourite thing in Singapore and the Merlion. We didn't do a whole lot of things bcause we are only in Singapore for a day. Tonight we fly to Adelaide at 12:00am. Yay I really miss home and can't wait to get back.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!!

Our stay in Kuala Lumpur was pretty laidback. We arrived in the afternoon so, on the first day we had alot around town and went to a few shopping malls. We didn't do much.
Our second day was a sightseeing day. First we went to the Petronas towers, it was really cool because there was a shopping centre on the first 4 floors of the building. I didn't buy anything because it was to expensive, like Chanel and Gucci etc. Then we went to the KL tower, its 421 metres high. We went to the top and there was an excellent view of KL. The last place we went to was Merdeka square. Its the main square and the place where Malaysia declared independence 50 years ago.
Day 3 we did a little bit of shopping. We went to Chinatown first with Farisha(dads friend) and I bought some cool cheap things. Then Farisha took us to the area where she lives and she showed me the cool shops in that area. That night we went to Farisha's apartment and hung there for a bit.
On our forth day we shopping at Sungeiwang, its a shopping mall, a bit like marion shopping centre, but with lots of cool cheap clothes. I bought a pair of nice shoes. We stayed there for a while and then went home. We didn't much that day.
On our last day we went to Bangsar, thats the area where Farisha lives. First me an dad looked around at Mid valley megamall(another mall). Then we met up with Farisha and spent the evening with her.

Phuket Thailand, day 6 to 9!

Day 6- We went to the beach, we didn't stay there for very long because I was already sunburnt and the heat was too much for me to handle. The beach is very busy, the beach is lined with 4 rows of beach beds and they go all the way to the end of the beach and every single one has someone lying on it. So you could imagine how busy it would be. There are lots of activities to do on the beach like parasailing, jet skis and banana boats. I didn't do any of the things because I got too hot too quickly and we left a bit earlier than planned.
The next day we had another rest day, laying by the pool, swimming. We only went to town to eat.
Day 8 - We went into the town and bought some souvenirs for other people. Then that night we went to Fantasea. Fantasea is a stage show. With lots of different acts from Thai history, is was a really excellent show. They had things light laser lights, ceiling dancers, fireworks and lots of different animals. Before we watch the show they provide a buffet for dinner and they have lots of sideshows to keep you amused before the show starts. I even got to hold a tiger, it felt just like a cat and was so adorable. Fantasea was one of my highlights in Thailand.
Day 9 was our last day in Thailand, so we rested for most of it. In the morning we went to town to do one last shop for some things and for the rest of the day I swam in the pool. Thailand was very relaxing and very fun!!

Phuket, Thailand day 5

Today we went on a tour! First we travelled around some small islands and they all look like big rocks sticking out the water. The First island we went to was the James Bond Island, the James Bond movie, The Man with the Golden Gun was filmed there in 1974.

It was a small island with not much flat land. Then we went to another island and did ocean canoing.

Next stop was Koh Panyee, its a village on stilts and thats where we had lunch.

After that we saw a demonstration of how rubber is made, its made from the sap of a rubber tree, that was very interesting. We also went on an elephant ride, that was lots of fun and it was the highlight of my day. We watched an elephant show, I got to feed the elephants and I got a massage from one. Then we had an ox cart ride.

Phuket, Thailand day 1-4

We finally get to relax!! We haven't done to much in the pass four days.
Day 1- We were so tired from our travelling so we slept when we got to Thailand. We woke up at 8pm and checked out Patong town.
Day 2- Today I went swimming in the pool and got sunburnt. We went to the town again to have another look and bought some things. Today I learnt you have to haggle all the time, because if you don't you will pay way too much. I found a skirt I liked but the lady offered it to me for 850 Baht ($31) and dad got it down to 250 Baht ($9).
Day 3- I went in the pool again and we watched kick boxing that night. It was good because I have never seen it before and we had VIP seats. A few people got knocked down which mad it a lot more exciting. It was a bit too long though.
Day 4- We stayed at the hotel all day and I went in the pool, dad also came in aswel. We only went out to eat that night.

Vienna, Austria Jan 3 to Jan 6

We went to Vienna to see mums side of the family. We met mums cousin Martina, her daughter Lilly and mums aunty Hanni at the train station. I met Martina's husband Kalechi when we went to Martina's house to drop our luggage off. That afternoon they showed me around town and we saw the Belvedere Palace. That night I met my great grandfather, it was really cool to meet him, he is 92 and still looks healthy.

On the second day i went with mums other cousin Manuela. We went for a trip around the Ring Boulevard and saw all the old buildings, like the Opera house. Then she showed me the centre of Stephensplatz. There we went to St Stephens Cathedral to look at the view of Vienna from the tower. We also did a bit of shopping.

On the third day dad and I went to Schonbrunn where the kings and queens of Austria used to live. I have now seen the palace where Marie Antoinette grew up as a princess palace where she lived as queen of France (Versailles). That night we had dinner with Hanni, Robert and Martina.
